The list of countries with “corridors” whose arrivals to the UK will be quarantined will not be announced until the end of the week, said Transport Minister Grant Shapps this Monday.
The minister confirmed that the lifting of the two-week quarantine obligation to all people arriving from abroad to contain the covid-19 pandemic in the United Kingdom has been authorized by health authorities.
“The Joint Biosafety Center, in close consultation with Public Health England and the general director of Health, has developed a categorization of countries and territories from which it is considered a minor risk, from the point of view of public health, for passengers entering the UK, without a 14-day self-isolation requirement, ”he said in a statement.
