List, obtained by the newspaper Le Monde, must be approved by Monday; Brazil, USA, Russia and Turkey are out
The 27 countries of the European Union have already agreed to open borders to 14 countries as of July 1, the French newspaper Le Monde said on Saturday (27). As Folha said, Brazil is off the list, due to the situation of the coronavirus pandemic.
On Friday evening (26), after weeks of debate, the Permanent Representatives Committee (which brings together ambassadors from EU member countries) agreed to receive residents of Algeria, Australia, Canada, South Korea, Georgia, Japan, Morocco, Montenegro, New Zealand, Rwanda, Serbia, Thailand, Tunisia and Uruguay.
