In an interview with PLATAFORMA, the Portuguese Ambassador to Mozambique, Maria Amélia Paiva, talks about the situation of the Portuguese living in Cabo Delgado and how the community was affected by the conflict that spreads in the region
Maria Amélia Paiva, recognizes the difficulties imposed by the conflict and by Covid-19 – factors that limit life to the three hundred Portuguese who are there, as well as to the 50 national companies that operate there – but says that few plan to leave. The diplomatic representative of Portugal in Maputo, also says that there is all the availability to support the Mozambican authorities in whatever they request.
