Documents obtained by the British newspaper Daily Mail from investigators in Los Angeles revealed on Thursday that star Kobe Bryant anticipated the helicopter flight that killed him by 45 minutes, as well as his daughter (Gianna) and seven others. Bryant asked his personal assistant, Cate Brady, to reschedule the trip from 9:45 am to 9:00 am
“On that particular day, for Sunday, I actually changed the time [of the flight] the night before, probably around 6:00 or 7:00 [afternoon], because Bryant decided he wanted to see another team play before his. So, the forecast was a departure for 9:45 am, but the night before we moved to 9:00 am, ”said Cate to the investigators, who analyzed a 1,700-page document.
Images showed that an intense fog would have impaired the piloting. According to the Daily Mail, 45 minutes later the flight conditions would be much better.
