Traditional Chinese medicine has been used to treat 92% of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in China, said a white paper published by the State Council’s Communication Department on Sunday.
A series of diagnostic and treatment protocols for traditional Chinese medicine has been developed to cover the entire medical observation process, treatment for cases with mild, moderate, severe and critical symptoms, as well as recovery, which has been applied across the country, said the white paper “Combating COVID-19: China in Action”.
The white paper pointed out that in Hubei Province, which was the place most hit by COVID-19, more than 90% of confirmed cases received treatment from traditional Chinese medicine, which proved to be effective.
