The vaccine against covid-19 in development at the University of Oxford, in the United Kingdom, enters this week in its phase three of clinical tests, in which at least 10,000 people will be vaccinated across the country to ascertain the effectiveness of the product.
Among the more than 70 immunizations currently in development worldwide, this is considered the most advanced and also the most promising. And ahead of the testing at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine is a Brazilian, immunologist Daniela Ferreira, 37, who specializes in respiratory infections and vaccine development.
