Brazil’s economy will drop to 2010 levels

The drop is similar to that of other countries in America but the outlook until 2021 is worse for the country ruled by Bolsonaro


Brazil must be surpassed by more than 80% of countries and return to 2010 levels

The decrease of 1.5% of the GDP (Gross Domestic Product) of Brazil in the first quarter of 2020, in comparison with the previous three months, was similar to that seen in other countries of America, where the virus spread later than the one verified in Asia and Europe.

There are two factors, however, that lead to predictions that the country will have one of the worst performances among the main world economies this and next year, with the risk of going back a decade, to the levels of 2010.
