Argentina, Peru and Bolivia suspended the operation of traditional trading places in the region
The city of Córdoba, the second most important city in Argentina, started easing isolation restrictions two weeks ago, reopening food and wholesale goods and markets.
With 87% of coronavirus cases concentrated in Greater Buenos Aires, the other provinces in the country have started to relax measures in some sectors.
The outcome, however, was not positive. In just three days, the North Market, the oldest and most frequented in the city, a few blocks from the historic center of Córdoba, registered 61 cases of infection and two deaths among employees, visitors and people connected to the place.
