New York challenges beyond the pandemic
Return of the city in 2020 will reflect changes imposed by the virus
Frank Sinatra’s voice singing “New York, New York” can be heard from a window on the street where I am staying, promptly at 7 pm, when the city pays homage to health professionals, applauding and banging pots.
The metropolis of the lyrics that says “I want to wake up in a city that doesn’t sleep”, at least in this neighborhood, has been dozing for almost three months.
