After death record: “Whoever doesn’t want to work, stay home”

The day after the record number of deaths in Brazil from the new coronavirus – 881 added in 24 hours – President Jair Bolsonaro once again defended the end of the quarantines decreed by governors and called for the distancing only of people at risk, such as the elderly and those who other diseases. “The people have to go back to work. Whoever doesn’t want to work, let them stay at home. Stop,” said the president on Wednesday, 13, in front of the Palácio da Alvorada, under applause and shouts from supporters.
