China reduces customs duties on 79 goods imported from the United States

The 79 products will be exempt from additional customs duties from May 19 and for a period of one year.

China has announced that it will reduce customs duties applied to 79 products imported from the United States, during the period of one year, part of the “Phase One” trade agreement signed between the two countries.

The list, published by the Chinese Ministry of Finance, contains certain silicon wafers used in electronic products, disinfectants and rare earths, which are essential minerals in high-tech production.
