In Italy, since the beginning of the covid-19 epidemic, at least 214,457 people contracted the virus, 1444 more than on Tuesday, with a 0.7% increase (yesterday there were 1075 new cases).
Of these, 29,684 died (another 369 in the last 24 hours, an increase of 1.3%; while yesterday there were 236 new deaths) and 93,245 recovered (another 8014, an increase of 9.4%; while yesterday there were more 2352).
There are currently 91,528 positive cases (a decrease of 7.05%, with 6939 less than yesterday). The count rises to 214,457, if the dead and the cured are also added. The data were provided this Wednesday by the Italian Civil Protection.
