Over 35 people died on the last day in Portugal with covid-19, which means that 820 deaths have already been declared in the country since the beginning of the pandemic. There were also 371 more cases of infection with the new coronavirus, which added to the previous ones account for a total of 22 353. They recovered 1201 patients, according to the epidemiological bulletin of the Directorate-General for Health (DGS), this Thursday (April 23 ).
Since the new coronavirus was discovered in China at the end of last year, 185,059 people worldwide have died from this disease, according to official data, updated at 10:01 am on Thursday. Out of a total of 2,653,808 infected, 727,844 recovered and are said to be cured.
