WHO supports caravan of experts in provinces in the interior of Angola

According to a statement to which the Lusa agency had access, the caravan, with 14 vehicles, left today (16) from Luanda, for 10 days, to reach the remaining 17 provinces of the country, with the aim of strengthening the technical and material capacity of response to the pandemic caused by the new coronavirus in Angola.

The initiative also aims to guarantee the strengthening of the capacities of the rapid response teams to Covid-19 at the country level, through the training of technicians and local doctors, in four key areas, namely case management, risk communication, epidemiological surveillance , logistics and biosafety.
