Luis Sepúlveda’s wife, also writer Carmen Yáñez, wrote an emotional poem to her husband, published in the Spanish regional newspaper El Comercio, from Asturias. The two writers were married twice, the first in Chile in 1971 and the second in Gijón, Spain, in 2004 ,. In between, they were 20 years without seeing each other.
